Bleach can cause terrible damage to many types of carpet. In a commercial installation such as a hotel, the potential for damage is compounded by the inconvenience of taking areas off line so it can be replaced. This example was a newly refurbished popular city centre hotel where a significant bleach spill had taken the colour out of several areas on the main corridor on one floor with access to many rooms.
The cost to replace would have been £000's in labour and materials and with all those rooms off line a real headache. Fortunately Renew on one visit were able to build the colour back up gradually using a complex but effective redyeing process which was very reasonably priced and solved the problem without any areas being taken off line.

Use of specialist stain removal products can reduce the bleaching or singeing to natural fibres, though we often incorporate this with an invisible mend patch repair as demonstrated in these before and after images.
